Checklist set-up

We recommend setting up two checkpoints to capture the data:

  1. Capturing the number of pcs in each box/pack (both inner and outer). This is done so that the weight of the material for the box can afterwards be distributed on each piece, so that it can be calculated for the total qty for the shipment.
  2. Capturing the weight of each material per box and piece

For general information on how to work with checklist, you can read the introduction guide here.

1st checkpoint: box counts

The first checkpoint could be set up like the below:

Click the Edit Measurements Table button to define the data points to collect during inspection:

2nd checkpoint: packaging weight

The second checkpoint could be set up like the below:

Click the Edit Measurements Table button to define the data points to collect during inspection:

You can create a similar checkpoint to report on the recycled content of the packaging as this is also a requirement in several countries.

Report

Once the inspection has been performed, the data will be visible in the inspection report as a measurement table. Since the checkpoint has been defined with Mandatory to take pictures, it will show the pictures below the measurement table.

Extract data for reporting

To aggregate the data for combined reporting, this is most easily done through PowerBI. Our support team is happy to help you set this up, so you have a constantly updated source of packaging data at one point in time.

If you need to delivery data in a different format, Qarma support may also be able to help on this.
